in China. With two days in Shanghai visit the Jade Buddha Garden, the Bund and more, also enjoy a day trip to Zhujiajiao, which is
an ancient watertown near Shanghai. Then transfer to the 4-star MV Splendid China for your adventure on the Yangtze. Visit the
Three Gorges, Shennong Stream, Dam Site, and Shibaozhai, the "Pearl of the Yangtze". Later visit Chongqing, Terra Cotta Warriors
in Xian, and the Great Wall in Beijing.

Welcome to Shanghai, the legendary seaport and the gateway to China. The cosmopolitan port city of Shanghai
is a treat to the senses with its mix of ancient and modern influences. You will be fascinated by its unique
culture and people. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the 4-star Galaxy Hotel. | | Day 2 | Shanghai
Today you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Garden and the Bund, which is located along the bank of the
Huangpu River. Also visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower for a bird's eye view of the city. A visit to a carpet factory
is also on the agenda. An amazing Acrobatic Show follows dinner. (B/L/D) | | Day 3 | Shanghai
Morning excursion to Zhujiajiao, an ancient watertown near Shanghai. In the afternoon visit the world famous Shanghai
Museum. (B/L) | | Day 4 | Shanghai-Yichang
After breakfast, transfer to airport to fly to Yichang. If time permits, enjoy a city tour. Your guide will help you
board the beautiful 4-star MV Splendid China of CITS Presidential Cruise. (B/L/D) | | Day 5 | Yangtze River Cruise
Take a shore excursion to visit the new dam construction site. Later, absorb the spectacular sights of the Xiling
Gorge. (B/L/D) | | Day 6 | Yangtze River Cruise
Small boat shore excursion along Shennong Stream, a natural habitat of mandarin ducks and golden-hair monkeys. In the
afternoon, admire the breathtaking sights of the narrow cliff walls and dramatic vistas in the Wu Gorge and Qutang
Gorge. (B/L/D) | | Day 7 | Three Gorges
Shore excursion to Shibaozhai, the "Pearl of the Yangtze," which is home to a 12-story wooden pagoda, built against the
side of a sheer rectangular cliff or visit Fengdu City of Ghosts. A Captain's Dinner and Folkloric Performance is
scheduled for the evening. (B/L/D) | | Day 8 | Chongqing - Xian
Disembark after breakfast. And enjoy a city tour of China's largest city. Sightseeing includes the World War II Museum
and Stillwell Museum. Transfer to the airport to fly to Xian. Stay at the 4-star Aurum International Hotel or similar.

Marvel at the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses in battle formation, guarding the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Later,
visit the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy a Dumpling Dinner before watching the Tang Dynasty Show. (B/L/D) | | Day 10 | Xian - Beijing
Take a morning flight to Beijing, the capital of China. Your guide will transfer you to the 4-star Regal Court Hotel.
In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace also know as the Garden of Nurtured Harmony. (B) | | Day 11 | Beijing
Visit the Temple of Heaven to see local people doing Taiji and morning exercises. Today is a full day in Tian An Men
Square, the largest public plaza in the world; the Forbidden City where two-dozen emperors lived from the 15th to the
early 20th century. (B/L/D) | | Day 12 | Beijing
Full day excursion to walk the mighty Great Wall and visit the lavish Changling Ming Tombs, and the Sacred Way. A
delicious Peking Duck Farewell Dinner with Cultural show awaits. (B/L/D) | | Day 13 | Beijing - Home
